Go ahead my child,

Go ahead and sleep,

Let that imagination run wild,

While you're fast asleep.



Will you dream of being strong,

Growing big and tall..

Or will you dream of being small?

And being pushed along...



Will you dream of being good,

Telling those what's right...

Or will you be a social blight,

Do not what you should.



Will you dream of being smart?

Reading all your books..

Or will you dream of having looks,

And tearing hearts apart...



Ah, see there's a smile,

Dreaming of something nice?

Oh, and there it goes..

Did you roll the dice?



Will you be the bird?

Singing to all a song..

Or will you speak not a word,

And know not what is wrong..



Just keep those dreams in mind,

When your life goes by,

For when those dreams are left behind,

Imagination will die...
