The Immaculate Conception Poem by John Bannister Tabb

The Immaculate Conception

A dew-drop of the darkness born,
Wherein no shadow lies;
The blossom of a barren thorn,
Whereof no petal dies;
A rainbow beauty passion-free,
Wherewith was veiled Divinity.
