The If Series Poem by Maureen Alikor

The If Series

If all I liked
where things you hated
why should we stick?

If all I gave
was all you took
why should I give on?

If you had air
at your disposal
who would you give?

If you had a world
and you were to create
who would be in your world?

If tomorrow never comes
what legacy would you leave
that would speak for you?

If all I had was a pen
and all you had was a book
would you let me write?
