The Hues Are Chang'D Poem by Liliana EL.

The Hues Are Chang'D

Rating: 5.0

Sometimes we're golden
Sometimes we're blue
They say roll with the punches and the ocean waves too
Candlelit nights are the ones best for thinking
We reflect on our means of life and fall asleep with bliss
Our loves are near, right beside us in our bed of glory and dew
Rays of inspiration hit us and once entrapped, there seems to be no alternative way
The end of the day is the time of day
where the spirits jump and come and play
Sometimes we're deluded and need to get away
Far off
Far far away
In the swamps, the piglets squeal,
the donkey kicks and runs
The gingerbread man, his leg dissolved, can't really run away
The wolf is shy
The prince is fake
These are the tales of our dreams
Sometimes we're golden
Sometimes we're pink
And sometimes the dead are revived
And these creatures let go
They halt all their worries
They fly and write and laugh and ride
These are the people that I know
