The Horseman Of Death Poem by Tim Vallie

The Horseman Of Death

Rating: 5.0

Through the city rides a Horseman, dressed from head to toe in black
His face shrouded in shadow, two blades strapped on his back
You can feel his gaze upon you, though his eyes you shall not see
He rides as swift as lightning, though ever silently
He never stops for drink, nor food, nor rest or bed
His path is marred in shadow, and the bodies of the dead
The Horseman has no name, he is known only as Death
And he will come for me and you, to take our final breath
