for one who believes in future reunions
departures are not
goodbyes
but merely temporary separations
for the moment
as soon as the right time comes in flashes of
light and alterations of gray and black
and dimmer
not to exclude the glimmer and the glamor
of some outburst of feelings like
lightning and sparks
we shall have the hope of meeting again
remembering
and opting to be one again with each other
like long lost friends meeting
in unexpected places of the heart
shaking hands
deciding to have coffee at the veranda
of a beach resort
sipping slowly what time is left
until then...
