The Honey Bee Poem by Paul Sebastian

The Honey Bee

As the early dawn veil gently lift
Buzzing, he makes haste his visit
Hurrying over hills and valleys
Excitedly, which he does, daily
While she anxiously awaits
After a long forlorn night
For his morn-kiss-greet
For his love, to recommit
Kissing her flushing petal-face
Buzz about as she happily gaze
Kissing her, he picks sweet nectar
Which, from depths, she'd proffer
Facial pollen rubbed on him
Sweet floral scent linger on him
Bids farewell, save a visit, yet another day
Her sweet nectar, saved in his honey-bay

Honey bees are amazing creatures! Instead of squandering or getting intoxicated with too much of nectar, they save the excess for the days of starvation! From dawn to dusk they toil to ensure the well being of their life! A sweet poem on honey bees
