The Holocaust Poem by Tyonna A..

The Holocaust

They began the killing and torture of Jews
Hearded like animals
Deprived of valuables, treasures and even shoes

Women, children, babies thrown into flames
Men lined up and shot
Forced labor, worked in the freezing cold as slaves

All their rights had been taken away
As they were loaded into cars
Not being able to see the next day

Families sometimes forced to kill one another
Putting bodies into the fire

Auschwitz is where they died
Auschwitz is where they were deprived
It was the place of death
The place in which Hitler wanted every Jew to take his last breath

The survivors memories can never be erased
And the deceased can never be replaced
