The Hollow Chameleon Smile Poem by Hebert Logerie

The Hollow Chameleon Smile

Rating: 5.0

The smile is saggy, fake
And freakish, not real at all
Like a weak wave in the lake
A capricious way to control
To manage true feelings
That do not mirror the heart
Like an actor playing a bad part
In the middle of the ring.

Let the fat lady sing
The truth will come out
One can only hide bad feelings
Without a doubt
The hypocrites are like that
The backstabbers emulate
The shadow of the conniving rat
All day, all night as of late.

The chameleon is tricky, sneaky
That's bad news everywhere
Something that's no longer rare
In this violent and crazy society
The smile is unnatural, uneven
That can cause a lot of pain
A special rainbow is in the sky
Hell is waiting for the spies.

Something that's no longer rare In this violent and crazy society The smile is unnatural, uneven That can cause a lot of pain A special rainbow is in the sky Hell is waiting for the spies. Many a People now a days shed crocodile' s tear... turning callous to the neighbors. But more dangerous are those who hold chameleon's smile on their lips.
