The Hole Poem by Kathlyn Grace

The Hole

The hole seems to grow
each day you aren't here
it becomes a bigger eye sore
for the world to bare

The hole seems to blend
in with the rest of me
it has become a part of me it seems
it seems a lot of things
the only thing it doesn't seem
it doesn't seem to be fillable
not by you at least

The hole seems to grow
in with the entirety of me
it is bleeding like a scrap
a small cut but constant
can you fill it please
with the love that i so badly need

The hole seems to grow
seems to become a bigger part
of the love we used to share
so old and yet so new
it has become a part of us
i need to get a clue

You love me
and I love you
that's all that matters here and now
when I am in your arms
The hole doesn't seem to be around
