The Heart Of The Ocean Poem by Black Love

Sitting at the ocean alone,
You watch me so far away.
I feel ashamed to admit to my mistakes.
It feels like the first time that I've fallen behind.

You used to call me your angel,
You had so much love in your eyes.
I have fallen from your grace.

Looking down at the ocean,
Tears are swelling up in my eyes.
Rain drops fall from all of heaven,
wishing the memories I once had.

Lost in a world, that scars me from the inside.
I reach out to you.
Have you left me, to live this life alone?

This lonely soul wanders.
Black and blue inside,
But puts on a painful smile,
So that the world looks beyond the pain.

I tear out my heart and throw it,
into the cold blue ocean.
There it will stay.
