The Heart Of Love Poem by Keith Eubulus

The Heart Of Love

Love is not a game for minors
Neither an adventure for mere experiment
But a plate prepared and reserved for two hearts.
Hearts caught in the tentacle web of sweet love
Flowing from nature’s depth of the heart.
Like the fountain water,
Nourishes our thirst of our daily existence.

Two hearts ready for the love chamber
To be bisected into one.
Its aroma tender the human body ice
Pondering the windows of the mind
Into fanciful adventure and
The eyes into bewitchment of beauty.

Two souls in one responding
“I am my lover and my lover mine.”
Love is not something water can quench
Nor floods drown its flame of passion.
Love is more powerful than fire
Poisonous than the venom of spider
Love blinds but liberates

Its whisper like love birds
Smoothing the aching heart
Love comfort found in the embrace of the heart

Love is not a game nor a race
A taste not a hate
A gain not a pain
Love is for the matured heart.
