The Heart Poem by Jocelyn Dunbar

The powerful part, intellectual
The essential center of the human being.
The heart knows, feels, speaks, to views
Through the knowledge wisdom of the mind.

The loving heart, the happy heart,
The sorrowful heart, the angry heart,
The aching heart;

There is the emotion of the heart that
keeps flowing and moving to any
Individual, a combination of the heart
Knowledge and heart relation through understanding,
It is the heart that speaks but not the knowledge
Of words through the world.
The heart needs breathing; to breathe in and out,
To let go and accept;

' All things that can harm the heart
Needs to let go and all things that give light,
Life needs to accept to live '.

The heart cannot lie; always speak in truth
It is sensitive to the deepness
Of emotion with its essence.

The heart whispers words into the realm of the
Intellect knowledge of the mind, to reach
The genuine feeling of emotion that can never be
Mistaken into the true destination of
The happiness of human beings.
