My luminary, my sun
my light when darkness sets in
my lodestar when buffeted by sea tide
In life’s swirling gloom
morning star of hope
in wasted land love in bloom
In the night of dark despair
my dream bud of hope
chiming dawn of happy cheer
When every where around
chaos of deafening sounds
my harmony, my anchor
Yours the face of my lucky charm
to my wounded soul, the healing balm
your footfall sends in me waves of thrill.
