The Hawk Of The Red Eyes Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

The Hawk Of The Red Eyes

The hawk of the red eyes
It was flying

Not long ago
And it was dusk
The red dusk of today

For day was waning
And
The sun had hidden
Herself
Beneath the perspective
Of the twilight and
The flowers' trembling
Haze of violet

For
The hawk of the red eyes
It was flying

Not long ago
And it was dusk
The red dusk of today

For day was waning
And
The sun had hidden
Herself
