The Haunted House Poem by Kevin Quero

The Haunted House

Rating: 5.0

There's a place called a HAUNTED HOUSE
It's a place which everybody hates,
It's filled with lots of scary things
That the bravest wouldn't walk through the gates.

They say it's filled with ghosts
And big hairy bats
Also scary spiders
And scarecrows with tall hats.

The haunted house was guarded
By big red eyed crows
How many crows were there?
Well nobody knows.

There are spider webs everywhere
And all the rooms were dusty
There were silver doors inside
Which were incredibly rusty.

There were small stone statues
Some with a diamond eye
Some people say they are cursed
Other people asked why.

The rooms were big and empty
Some rooms were really tall
And some big scary picture frames
We're hung across the hall.

There used to be someone that lived in the house
And many people asked who
Most people say this is all a myth
But do you think it's true?
