I learned a lesson today
that will forever remain true
saying goodbye to you was
One of the hardest things I ever had to do

Never Have I experienced a loss
Up until this moment
Even with the pride of a lion
would I break down and cry

I can't forget yesterday
Each moment you and I had shared
Reflecting on every happy memory
Now leaves me with despair

The most kindest of hearts
I found in you whose now in my past
If only i were given one wish
It would be for us to last

Smiling out of anger
when nothing about this is amusing
So I wear this disguise
But i'm really dying inside
