The Gypsy Girl Poem by sabitha geethall

The Gypsy Girl

A gypsy girl
Sleeps in my blood.
I could hear
The wanderer
Thrashes her
Impatient feet.
To soar
Unknown heights.
To feel the rain
In the nudity
Of her soul.
Yearn the sky
Flapping her
Wide wings.
To kiss the
Unborn lillies
In alien valleys.
I hush that
Absurd girl in vain.
But her resilient
Soul sings me back!
