The Greatest Force Poem by Francis Duggan

Us human beings are not unlike her Seasons
In that we are born to life and from life go
But Mother Nature she lives on forever
And little about her we do seem to know.

The greatest force that ever has existed
She is the only World super power
When she grows angry all others flee before her
The very bravest before her cringe and cower.

And yet she can be warm, kind and gentle
And she can create real magic from a tiny seed
All life forms of the World are her children
And everything that breathes life she does feed.

The only real World super power is Mother Nature
She rules the mighty oceans and the Land
And we have got to learn to respect her
Though her ways we will never understand.
