The Great Ball Poem by Brandi Hall

The Great Ball

Rating: 5.0

The great ball of hopes and Dreams
With its glossily mirror image
Slowly slips between my fingers
I try to grab it
But fail
It rolls away
I try to catch it
But fail
The great ball of hopes and dreams
With its glossily mirror image
Its slippery, elusive ways
Maybe it had a reason
Maybe I held on to tight
