The Good Old Days Poem by Cornileus Ellinson

The Good Old Days

Walking down the dirt road
A sound purpose in mind
You tell yourself you can do it
In the Good Old Days
You let your kids play freely
You let them run wild
There safety undeniable
In the Good Old Days
So walked you talked
You even sang
In the Good Old Days
Then and now your in our thoughts
Now more than ever
You've past on to new life
But your still here with us
In the Good Old Days
