The Golden Road Poem by Kasia Fedyk

The Golden Road

The road less traveled
oh yes, I've heard about it
a deep secret kept for many years
a road so different than any other
I think someone once said
it's paved in gold
or maybe just stained
I may wonder
I will take that road
it will do me good, I know
I'm tired of the same streets
day after day
night after night
I feel the road less traveled
has a lot to offer
it seems to me, miracles happen there
I can feel it, you know
that little voice inside
oh yes, intuition
that's what I meant to say
I will go and find
that golden road
where fear has no name
and life has a meaning
I'm not going to sit here
and try to figure out my plan
no plan needed
I have to take chances
that's what life is all about
you may laugh when you read this
that's good!
laughter is so good for the soul
in a mean time
I'm gonna take the road less traveled.
