The Gazelle Poem by Aminath Neena

The Gazelle

Snowy tears trickle
Slowly drizzle
Forming a lopsided puddle
Icy feet huddle
Engaged In a painful cuddle
As thorny bushes nuzzle
Demanding an endless tittle-tattle
At times it becomes a lofty puzzle
Holding on to the blood - red epistle
Denoting a hopeless battle
In times of a harlequin struggle
Where faltering teardrops muddle
The beauty of the once striking gazelle
