The Garden Of Life Poem by Evelyn Macdonald

The Garden Of Life

In Our Father's earthly garden
just like flowers, we all grow
savouring the life force
that we all have come to know

In our Father's earthly garden
one rose blooms above the rest
each petal soft as satin
whose fragrance stands the test

In our Father's earthly garden
He smiles on this flower with pride
He marvels how such fragileness
contains such strength inside

In our Father's earthly garden
as He takes it to his breast
take comfort in the knowledge
that He only plucks the best

A very nice poem, Evelyn! He only plucks the best and He nurtures the rest!
