The Fury Spent~ Poem by Theodora (Theo) Onken

The Fury Spent~

Rating: 4.9

The lake this day- is a broken grey
With no salvation from the sky
The moon- windswept- in the Galaxy kept
A misty reminder of a day gone by;
No destinations forthcoming
No journeys with a Rainbows end
Just winds of madness & their ignorant refrain
A natural disaster with no one to mend? ;
Dizzying attitudes of malice in full control
While the stems and blooms continue to sway
Tree limbs snap- -Mother Nature's slap- -
Nothing to calm a storm- when hate comes out to play;

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Just a write about malice. Again this is not about anyone or anything in particular but is just a write about jealousy, fear and anger...rage, contempt, and the negative sides of personalities;

Diane, Yes we do need to be reminded of malice; Sometimes, in this world of poetry, we see some being preyed on...even complete reputations wrecked; Once we as poets step over into another poets private life for real, and dirty it, there is no excuse. Unfortunately, i have seen this happen toi much! Thank you for reading and commenting.

Malice is a mental disease, I think. Because, it makes a person mad.Loved the novelty of thought.
