The Fruits Of Spiteful Lust Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

The Fruits Of Spiteful Lust

these are the fruits of spiteful lust
love as possession weighted jealous?
partner as trophy chattel property
love bound in purchase price chains
this love cruel claims jealous remains?

this love stands not fire trial tests
this love endures not for eternity?
this love is washed away in adversity
this love says but your future is mine
throughout eternity loyal love will shine?
