The Frog’s Dream Poem by Dr John Celes

The Frog’s Dream

It was raining cats and dogs!
The umbrella seemed very small;
The frog got wet in the thunderstorm,
And felt hungry pretty soon.

It had a dream with opened eyes;
A dinner fine to dine and sleep;
A chubby rabbit would be great
–A food for tongue to twirl upon.

But then the frog was rather small;
The rabbit in the dream was huge;
The rain had vanished without trace;
The frog remained hungry and wet!
