The Forever Queen Poem by Wykeshia McCallister

The Forever Queen

I am the Queen that’s been reflected by the Man in the Mirror
Who has taught me how to be a courageous conqueror
As Michael rock my world, I’ve left blood on the dance floor
He was another part of me to heal the world
As Michael’s Liberian Girl, I’m not out of his life
Respectfully, I dared myself to remember the time
For as long as Michael remains in my heart
I’ll know that forever and ever he’ll never part
Within HIStory, it gloved the world really tight
As I think of being his baby, it didn’t matter if I’m black or white
Even though I am not alone, I am bad and dangerous
The way he make me feel, he really made me feel valorous
Although I’m not Dirty Diana, I’m certainly not Billie Jean
I want to be more like Michael by being crowned as the Queen
I know that we are the world that sings the Earth Song
I’ll be there one day for it won’t be very long
If I want to be bad, I’m gonna beat it and be invincible
And I’m like Annie, I’ve been strucked by a smooth criminal
Since Michael is Peter Pan, I’ll be his Wendy to rock with him
As I scream in the night of thriller, I’ll jam with him
Michael Jackson will always be loved, missed, and remain as the American dream
And I’m willing to make a change as being the Forever Queen.
