The Flouted Wealth Poem by Alem Hailu Gabre Kristos

The Flouted Wealth

Wondering our dream
Comes true when
Every muscle we strain
Also unturned
We leave no stone
Pursuant of fortune.

But oft when we strike fortune
Health the flouted wealth,
Bids farewell never to return again
Leaving a keepsake chagrin.
