The First Time Poem by Jacob Bland

The First Time

Time passes too fast
Moving closer to the end
I look back at the past
Something forgotten at every bend

The memories flood my mind
So many sounds and sights
But not one of them as kind
As that one fateful night

There's a girl standing there
With a guy with arms to hold
Fingers rushing through her hair
Staring into her eyes of gold

Placing lips on her cheek
She says he misses
The guy starts to freak
And then she kisses

Everyday's a new story
Everyday's a new tale
It's not all about the glory
Not even the holy grail

Our story continues still
To this day growing longer
My love is strong and will
Keep growing stronger
