The First One Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

The First One

They called it 'puppy love'-
In childhood days, it comes.
A touch of moonbeams above
Born of stardust, it becomes
That fascinating link
Which can so mesmerize
And can make our hearts sink,
Eyes somehow hypnotized.

A fragile time of splendor,
A fleeting moment's thrill-
That in memory we may store,
The magic of what we feel.
And through the years that fade
The glitters soon diminish
When other loves invade
The first one... we still cherish.

An innocent mind with true love cherished friendship only like butterflies and flowers wind and rain in nature
