The Film Poem by Chionh Zhe Wen

Is life just like a film,
Where I follow the script with every word it says,
And the whole life is one big act?
Is life watched closely by some people only,
And only understood by some people, or can I say the critics,
Who condemns or celebrates your life.
And is life with many 'cuts' by the Director,
Or does it all end with just one 'Cut! '?
And can I change the script a little, like some actors?
And is the entire cast and crew one big family?
Or enemies?
And is my film an indie film,
Or a blockbuster?
