The Fight

To fight is a choice
A choice to remain ignorant
Is ignorance bliss?
Maybe for the child
But not the father
Why do we turn our backs on eternity
Or freedom from slavery and bondage
Resistance is evil
Why do we fight to stay blind?
We live in the dark
Even when the sun shines
And we forget that this is a choice.
