The Fate Poem by Abhishek Mishra

The Fate

Rating: 4.3

Tears started raining through my eyes
I guess it was because of sudden delight
I still remember that day
when I met with a severe accident
and found myself okay
Immediately I thanked my god
but meanwhile I heard a voice
which was dipped in pain
a man was cursing his fate
as he had lost his son in the same accident
I am still trying to figure it out whether
I should feel blessed for me or sad for him
Please somebody tell me
I was lucky or he was unfortunate

Our fate is something that we have no control over. We just have too live each day trusting that we will overcome what happens to us. Our fate and future is in Gods plans. A thoughtful write.
