The False King's Doom Poem by Tim Vallie

The False King's Doom

Bash yourself against a stone
And still it's you who breaks
Sit upon your golden throne
A king that does not make
A storm of blood rushes forth
To rain o'er your house
A ruthless vengeance from the North
Comes forth to drive you out
With eyes of fire and souls of rage
Vengeance and death they scream and shout
As this campaign of doom they wage
They descend upon you now
A storm of man and steel
To remove that crown from on your brow
They shall end that fear you feel
Bash yourself against a stone
And still it's you who breaks
The false king yet upon his throne
His head they come to take.
