The Eyes That Only Find Darkness Poem by Thomas Bevers

The Eyes That Only Find Darkness

In this lonely world we live in, In this lonely world we die in. everything is blank, the pages of our future are never to come, and the pages of our past never existed. in this dark and lonely world the only thing we have is the present. if you lose everything worth living for.. then whats the cost of life itself, why live regretting everything you have ever done, or meeting people you once loved so much, is it possible to stop loving the one person you ever cared for? is it possible to find a replacement for someone who was perfect to you in every imaginable way? no... there is no replacement for love.. only a hope, a hope that can drain away the sorrow... a sorrow of loosing everything to live for. Life... life is just a word... a word without meaning... just as love is, now.. all love is is just a dream one has of feeling happy. but happiness doesn't exist.. its just a book with blank pages, just as life is. its all just a blank book searching for ink.. ink that will never be found.
