The Eyes Of Love
No matter how hard,
Anyone tries,
It's only the Eyes,
That can express.
The fullness, the totality,
The inexpressibility,
Of what true Love can really be,
No words, just looks communicate,
The warm embrace, the tenderness,
The feelings no words can express,
The eyes translate into caress.
It's the most beautiful look on earth to express the most sincere and fulfilling feeling on earth.
This poem is a piece of gem that sparkles with each of the last seven lines. 'The Eyes of Love' is an eye catching title, that crowns a poem that sits on my heart, just as a butterfly would alight on a sprightly flower. Very poetic, very sensitive observation.10/10.
THE FEELINGS NO WORDS CAN EXPRESS/THE EYES TRANSLATE INTO CARESS. That is a perfect closing couplet for this poem. The emotions of the poem come to rest here in the confidence that tenderness will prevail. In a prose context this sentence would be seen as something to develop further or even prove. But poetry knows better! The poem has brought us to a state of awareness which is blessed. After reading a poem like yours full of sweetness and light how could anyone say an unkind word?
