The Extraordinary Man Poem by Francis Duggan

The Extraordinary Man

To be a master builder his claim to renown
The extraordinary man in an ordinary Town
In what he is good at he does take great pride
And as a master builder he is known far and wide.

Though simple enough the lifestyle he does lead
The extraordinary man is one of a dying breed
The houses he build have a style of their own
Without his name to them their builder is known.

His work is his trademark his type are so rare
And with him few builders can hope to compare
On the building of houses advice he doesn't need
His creative genius is extraordinary indeed.

Around the Town his is a familiar face
The extraordinary man in an ordinary place
To the craft of the builder he is one who is true
And credit one can say he is overdue.
