Conversation light,
Touching generalities.
Events of the day,
What's in the news,
Personal points of views.
Subtle movement of body and face.
The look in the eyes.
The smile or frown.
Sipping coffee.
The lay of the shirt,
The color of the skin,
A sparkle in the eyes,
The crinkles of character,
The feeling of warmth rising,
The firings of the brain,
Flashing quicker and quicker,
Till conversation is lost
On the listener,
Because all that can be heard
Is the thumping of Heart.
