The Eventual Goal Poem by Ernestine Northover

The Eventual Goal

Rating: 4.5

Lift your eyes and look towards the sun,
Let these rays bring comfort to your day,
Raise up your spirit, let the fight begin,
Hold on to all your hopes, do not give way,
And then in time, again the sun will rise,
Piercing through the darkness of your soul,
Bringing with it the very greatest prize,
A wholeness which will be your eventual goal.

A very inspiring poem. Somewhere the sun is shining. Even on the darkest day. Thank you for sharing. Kindest regards, Sandra Fowler
