This is a beautiful poem, and it must tell a story I would love to know about. If it was lyrical it would probably lose it's dept but might sing. Wonderful (Report) Reply

This is a remarkable sonnet. Although the subject is tragic, the writing of it is assured, focused, deep, with no trace of false feeling. You did not let anything mar our impression of this young woman, she is a victim and deserves complete sympathy. The line WHEN YOU DISAPPEARED THE SUN WAS BLOTTED OUT cut me to the quick, and then the despair of NO TRACE REMAINS OF THE FLOWER THAT YOU WERE. This is the kind of poem that opens hearts. I guess we all start as lovers of life,
it comes and it goes and the wheel
    of sadness keeps rolling.
    This place is about suffering
    creation will always be karmic
    and the wheel keeps rolling...

nice write, as always! ! ! (Report) Reply

Missing persons are in Pakistan too. Death is not so painful but to miss someone and not knowing whether he is alive or dead is too painful. An impressive poem. A well deserved poem of the day. (Report) Reply

Beautifully written, loved especially the beginning beauty, but as this is real life and I like happy endings, I was appalled by the tragedy and the sinister reality of the ending. (Report) Reply

    'Suspicions, hearsay and rumours abound,
Forces unknown had swallowed you up,
No trace remains of the flower that was you, ' - You have realistically captured the scene and the effects of the disappearance.
    Best wishes... (Report) Reply
