The English Teacher Poem by Howard Kern

The English Teacher

Syntax and arrogance from a Master’s point of view
Semantics and phonology is what Poets use to prove
Your pragmatics sucks from a Poets social point of view
Social Security is my safety net, and your arrogates put it down
Your coin stopped, and your arrogate thought that keeps me around.
With love in your heart you can’t wear your horrid frown
I refuse to marry you, and let you put me in the ground!

Your rejection of her is quite obvious! different people are not supposed to 'magnet' each other, but there is someone for everyone...
