In the cosmos the endless dance goes on
of electrons in every atom
in planets and stars
nature and universe
Paralling them there is dance
in every microcosm
each step rising and falling
to encompass the whole
In every moment
there is continual movement
yet a calm, peaceful center
from which radiate waves of ecstacy
In circles and spirals
aware of the process
stirring ceaseless ripples
in heart, mind and soul
We turn and turn and turn
every time with a different intent
to explore the feeling of turning
using varied wavelength
As if we were ever going deeper
culminating in the illumination
for those who are watching
as well as those who are turning
All partaking of this same joy
this same sense of adventure
the same bliss
awareness of being immersed in the God’s Grace
Reminiscent of Eliot’s Four Quartets:
“At the still point of the turning world.
neither flesh nor fleshless;
neither from nor towards;
at the still point, there the dance is,
but neither arrest nor movement.
…
Except for the point, the still point,
there would be no dance,
and there is only the dance”.
