The End Of The Road Poem by Sandra Feldman

The End Of The Road

Rating: 5.0

The Time has passed,
And all in vain,
It takes a lot,
To keep one sane,
I still remember,
All the same,
All that you said,
And what it meant,
And why I bled,
And why one's life,
Can't go ahead,
Without the One,
That you once wed.

The poem speaks of an irreparable loss and the protagonist is still in the trauma of it! The words once uttered which seemed sincere then, but now found empty makes life come to a stand still! A poignant write!

A very, very beautiful expression of love, devotion, and loss... but would one expect anything less beautiful and touching from Sandra?
