The Drifter Poem by Sarah Liz Bowman

The Drifter

You should be kind to strangers
Some- not all- can be quite dangerous
Show courtesy to those who ask a favor
You never know it could be a lifesaver
A kind word and a smile
could mean your survival
The drifter has many faces
And those who don't pass his test leave no traces
