The Dream Fight Poem by Your Pusha

It's  been so long since I've slept alone
This big Empty bed just feels so cold
The warmth of your body was what I've come to know
Where in your arms I thought I'd grow old

I cant sleep I lay restless just thinking of you
Missing you near me holding me close
I lay wondering if your thinking of me too
When will I see you again do you know

Tell me did you dream of me last night
I slept so hard I wish I could remember mine
The pill I took seem to have won the dream fight
With my sleep so deep I lost track of time

This drug induced coma it takes me away
Far from all my thoughts of you and the pain
Somewhere safe where my wounded heart can stay
Where blood from love it will no longer drain

Sleep please keep your dreams far from me
They will only create from me more tears
Dreams of what once was is not my need
Dreams of you once cherished now cause fear

When I awake in the morning from my slumber 
I lay there perfectly still as if I were stone 
I'm sad as in my dream your face I remember
I can't feel my body my blood has run cold
