The Devil's Affair Poem by Angel A. Lockwood

The Devil's Affair

The devil went down to Georgia
To attend the State's Fair and to his surprise
Upon his arrival
He found, some of his family there
The people were celebrating as you could hear the loud roar in the air
Also many people scurrying all about, to purchase souvenirs
A fight broke out, there came screams and shouts
All due to complaints of people standing closely
Much too near
Many children was stampeded and
Others lefted the area with fear
Pubilcly declaring not to
Return back to fair the next year
