The Devil Lost Poem by Susan Wall

When I thought
all hope was gone.
I just believed the lies
the devil told me.
In my mind.
I just gave up trying
to believe that our lives
would be reunited
back together again.
God knew what
He needed to do
so my daughter and I
would share that bond
we had since her childhood.
The devil tried
but oh my friend
my God is the one
that has the last call.
When God said
this life will not be lost.
The devil will pay the cost
when he tries to harm
a child of the King.
