The Desperado And His Lady

I met you through a friend who figured he'd lend a hand
He knew I was looking for a woman so I could be her man
I introduced myself in kind of an awkward way but your
father allowed me in anyway. Your mother liked me at
first thinking I was a nice young boy. Your sister hated me
and still does but I played with her like a mindless toy.
My concern for impression was coming from you and I got
what I wanted cause you liked me too. Nobody else
mattered cause they'd never understand the kind of level
we were on and how I could hold you in the palm of my hand.
I was your desperado and you were my lady no fences nor rules
could hold me and you'd be right there waiting for me to show up
and take you in my arms and put a smile on your face with nothing
but the power of my charm. You were the one that ran through my
head like a needle and thread with blood sweat and teers pouring out
as the pain just shed for when we parted and the barrel was shown I
figured The desperado would just ride on while he had some flesh and bone.
I'd try to come in again and make the sun shine better and even contact you
by writing some kind of letter but it was no use all the fire was gone and you
had lost interest and you did'nt need me you had your mom. I see you every now
then and I wonder what might've been if you'd stuck with your desperado and
how things would end if you'd stayed together with nobody elses piece of mind
and just let things be and let the story take it's own course and time.
But now you've found someone else and that's perfectly fine but never forget your
desperado cause you'll always be one of mine
