The Desert Likes You Poem by RIC BASTASA

The Desert Likes You

Rating: 4.0

You are dry
acrid, no flower
blooms, here
the rocks feast
on sun and
moon,
winds come like
visitors,
nothing is
entertaining
except the silence
which strums itself
in the cadence of
breathing, no one
like you, except
the desert.
